RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE Drummer Denies Wife's Claim Their Marriage Ended Because Of JULIETTE LEWIS Affair

According to The Blast, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE drummer Bradley "Brad" Wilk has denied his estranged wife's claim that their marriage ended in part because of an affair he had with actress Juliette Lewis.

The 50-year-old musician separated from his wife Selene Vigil-Wilk in 2013 after eight years of marriage. They have two children: Luka, 12, and Alexander, 10.

Lewis, 45, and Wilk began going public with their romance in 2016. They appear to still be together.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Wilk shot down Vigil-Wilk's claim his relationship with Lewis torpedoed their efforts to reconcile. He said there was never a reconciliation and that he and Selene had been separated "for years" when he began dating Lewis.

Wilk also balked at his estranged wife's demand for $48,000 a month in support, saying that he has already paid her over $4 million since they split. Bradley listed his average monthly income as $132,000 and noted he has $1,092,600 in bank accounts, $1.2 million in stocks/bonds and $3.4 million in other property.

The drummer went on to say that he is not earning as much money as he used to since RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE split in 2000 and that his main source of income is royalties.

Bradley said: "I have no idea how much longer I will have a viable music career at this stage of my wife. I have continued to work with various bands since the time of our separation in an attempt to keep up with the cost of maintaining two households and to meet the financial needs of our children, but my income is nowhere near what I earned with [RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE]."

In her May 2019 filing, Vigil-Wilk asked for $30,124 per month in temporary spousal support and $17,772 per month in temporary child support. She was also seeking $100,000 in attorney fees and $50,000 for a forensic accountant.

Vigil-Wilk originally filed for divorce in 2013 after learning that Bradley had allegedly been having an affair with a Las Vegas woman who worked at a strip club. However, later that year, Vigil-Wilk said the couple reconciled and decided to stay together.

In addition to being a founding member of RAGE, Wilk played in AUDIOSLAVE with two of his RAGE bandmates and most recently played with them in PROPHETS OF RAGE. He also handled the drums on BLACK SABBATH's 2013 reunion album in place of absent original drummer Bill Ward.
